Ever wonder why GM never installed a oil pump gasket? Melling says their pumps dont leak. hahahah  Are you kidding me. Just take a look at the finish on the mount. We lightly sand the pump mounting surface and the main cap with our precision ground granite blocks and install a gasket. Direct that precious oil where it belongs. Very small leaks at the pump dramatically effect pressure in the engine. Gaskets are stainless core with a coating. WE have big block and small block chevrolet. You can buy singles or packs of ten.
