    Description

    Two brand new, mint condition BONHAMS & BUTTERFIELDS/HOWARD LOWERY ANIMATION/ILLUSTRATION ART AUCTION CATALOGS for June, 2007/March, 1993. These are extra file copies, stored right after each auction, and never (or seldom) opened.
    These are quite striking with expensive setups illustrated fully on the covers, with little or no titles or other printing over one corner.
    The Lowery catalog has an extensive offering of Carl Barks artwork from his estate, including early drawings, sketches and paintings-- up to his later, detailed oils that fetched hundreds of thousands of dollars.  Also included are many of his comics and other publications, as well as scripts and cover designs.
    The Bonhams & Butterfield catalog contains the Malcolm Willits collection of twenty four Mickey Mouse paintings by Floyd Gottfredson, along with several stories and interviews.
