    This auction is for a new, never used original equipment starter spring that was used on many many different years and models of outboard motors made for Montgomery Wards VWB models from 1971 and newer.  If your starter looks like the schematic below odds are this is the starter gear you need.
    NOTE: YOUR STARTER MUST HAVE SAME BRACKETS AS PART NUMBERS 4 & 11 SHOWN IN DIAGRAM!
    If in doubt send me an email or message with your make and model number and I will try to verify. For sure fits ALL 8 thru 15 hp models made from 1976 to 1984 and many of the 6 and 9.6 hp models back to 1971.
