    Description

    The Seychelles 50 rupee banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Seychelles in 2005. The note comes in green, brown, and lilac combinations. It features on its obverse the coat of arms of Seychelles, the map of the country, an angelfish, Paille en queue orchids, and a silver foil sailfish. On the reverse of the note are cowrie shells lining up on the upper left, cars, the clock tower situated in Victoria, a yellow-fin tuna fish, and a tiomitio bird. The paper bill which is 151 x 75 mm in size, has a windowed security thread with a demetalized CBS, a watermark that depicts a turtle, and a registration device in the form of a turtle. Additionally, the banknote has the signature of Francis Chang-Leng. This specific Seychelles 50 rupee banknote has been graded 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
