Vintage Deco Wilson Catalin? Welding Goggles Steampunk Motorcycle Aviator

This listing is for a pair of Vintage Deco Welding, Motorcycle or Aviator Goggles by Wilson. The material has a tortoiseshell pattern and may be Catalin, though we're not certain.
The sides are covered with perforated metal panels, riveted on, to allow ventilation and the lenses are removable for cleaning or replacement.
In good vintage condition, with scuffs, scratches or marks and welding sputter on the cover lenses. Lens holders are mismatched. The elastic strap is missing and the rubber nose-piece has hardened with age. With the dark lenses (not included) removed there's some play available for the clear cover plates, so you might want to add an O-ring on each side. The material has a tortoiseshell pattern and may be Catalin, though we're not certain. The initials WC are scratched into the goggles and the metal on both sides. Mannequin head and strap pictured are not included.
These are a beautiful pair of vintage goggles, among the nicest on the market and a great gift - don't let them get away!
